Our Path
All dates and locations are tentative. Please keep an eye on our social media (linked above and below) for more information.
Logistics for Walkers
Walkers/Drivers- PLEASE SIGN UP ON THE REGISTRATION FORM SO WE HAVE A LIST OF NAMES.
-
Each walk lasts no more than 11 hours, although we are trying to keep it under 10 hours. It is based on 3 miles per hour pace. The walks are from 15-30 miles. HOWEVER, you do not have to walk all of it.
-
We suggest you recruit a driver or come as a group and carpool/share gas cost. For example, if a car can seat 4, one driver can take the car while the other 3 walk; and then you can alternate drivers/walkers. Each car is responsible for their belongings.

-
Some people may only want to walk part of it, and fly in to a specific city. That is fine, they can join at the events and the walk.
-
Each person is responsible for their own way home.
-

-
Each state has a team leader. The maps are posted on google drive, and you can get from your team leader. We will post on the website as well (seen above).

-
Each person needs to sign a liability waiver as well, which will be emailed to you.
Lodging:
-
We will be in different places, maybe a park, or a church, or a home. Each person is responsible for bringing their bedding (sleeping bag, tent, essentials). We can keep those in the cars that carry our equipment and other essentials including those who aren't bringing a personal vehicle. We are looking into other vehicle options to haul equipment and belongings.
-
Although some churches or ministries may host us for lodging, each person is responsible for the cost of their lodging. For example, if we stay at a campground, you may want to share the cost of the site with your carpool group. Or you may have a friend in the city, we visit and you stay with them. State leaders are searching for lodging at our rest stops (i.e. hopcamp, airbnb, campsites, KOA's).
-

-
Food: Although some churches, ministries may provide meals, we are still responsible for our meals. We suggest the carpool van have an ice chest to hold food and drinks.
-
When the time gets closer, we will set up a Telegram group for those involved, so we can communicate while preparing for and on the walk.

This is a ministry trip, so we suggest you raise support. Some friends/family, or your local church may offer to buy gas or gift cards for the trip. We are under a 501c3, and an in-kind letter can be given to those who donate.
